On April 23rd, the Irvine Barclay Theatre will host two showings of “Alice In Wonderland” . The shows are based upon Lewis Carroll’s famous stories Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass, the Maple Ballet. Tickets are currently on sale.

“The Production features a more mature Alice and combines absurdity and humor while Alice investigates the surreal and fantastic imaginary universe she has created in Wonderland,” says Charles Maple. “The ballet celebrates the versatility and style of the Maple Ballet, and its’ mission to create works that speak to a diverse audience.”

“In terms of cleverness, humor and originality, Alice in Wonderland will take the audience beyond the classic fairy tale. They’ll leave the ballet with a bit of a Cheshire cat’s grin.”

The production promises to stir emotions, unleash childhood memories and introduce the classic fairytale to a new generation.
