Three weeks after the Ticketmaster and Live Nation merger got the green light from the department of justice, Live Nation (or shall we say, the new company, Live Nation Entertainment) has reportedly inked a deal with retail giant Wal-Mart.

Many Details of the deal have not been made public but according to reports sometime in the next few months about 500 Wal-Mart stores and outlets including stores in Los Angeles and Chicago.

The Wal-Mart deal was announced by Live Nation Executive Chairman Irving Azoff during a panel discussion earlier today at a technology summit at the NBA All-Star weekend in Dallas.

Once the merger is complete there will be no shortage of where to buy tickets with Macys and Wal-Mart’s available for the new ticket giant.
