For those wondering if Lady Gaga likes to mingle with her can rest assured, she gets down with her fans. Friday at the 2010 Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, Lady Gaga, wearing a sexy fishnet top and nothing underneath while crowd surfing. Some fans got to first base; with their hands all over the woman some are calling the next best thing since Madonna. Some fans were even seen licking the star as she went through the crowd.

Dim lights

Taylor Swift was set to release a new single but had to rush on it since pirates got ahold of the single earlier than expected. Taylor Swift's management and publicists realized this could hinder on the sales of the single so they released the single 12 days earlier then scheduled. Smart thinking on their part as the single “Mine” reached #1 on itunes.com. Taylor’s new album, “Speak Now” which will feature the hit single is due for release October 25, 2010. Swift said the single was about her tendency to "run from love".

Wyclef Jean has officially announced (and registered) for his bid for the presidency Haiti. The Grammy award winning artist, and founding member of The Fugees was born in Haiti before moving to the states when he was 9 years old. In preparation for running, Wyclef Jean resigned from Yele Hati, a Not for profit he established to help with scholarships, jobs and community relief to citizens of the corrupt nation.

Sum-41’s front man, Deryck Whibley has been hospitalized after being jumped by three attackers at a bar in Japan according to reports. A statement on the bands website says “It is unfortunate to say, but Deryck Whibley is still in the hospital. He was attacked late last night in Japan.  We are waiting for results and we are hoping for the best.  Thanks for your support.” Before the incident however, the band had to cancel a few Vans Warped Tour dates due to serious case of bronchitis Deryck was diagnosed with.

Weezer, announced this week that they have completed their album, titled “Hurley” due out on September 14th on Epitaph Records. This album will be the bands third album in just three years. For this album, the band reached out to Ryan Adams and Mac Davis instead of All-American Rejects and Lil Wayne whom helped with their last album, Raditude.
