Weezer, a band who hasn’t visited Southern California since supporting Blink-182 in the epic summer concert and since Rivers Comas’s accident which left scheduled concerts nationwide to be rescheduled or cancelled will be visiting Southern California two times this summer, and for “free” both times!

Weezer, having sold over 8 million records nationwide and having more then a few handfuls of hit singles like “Buddy Holly”, “Pork and Beans”, "Undone - The Sweater Song”, and "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To" just to name a few has been busy since Rivers Comas’ accident, having released a single "Represent". The song is said to be an "unofficial US anthem" to coincide with the 2010 FIFA World Cup and also working on another album, which might have some help from Mandy Moore’s husband, Ryan Adams whom admittedly has helped with at least one of the new songs.

Weezer, with guest Hot Hot Heat, will have a concert at the annual US Open of Surfing event in Huntington Beach (On the beach!) on August 7th, 2010 from 4:30 till 6:30.

Weezer will also be playing an in-field concert at the world famous Del Mar Racetrack on 8/31. According to the Del mar racetrack website, the concert will take place after the last race and will be on the new Seaside Stage located at the West end of the Grandstand. If you would like to just see the concert and not the races, tickets are $20.

Since Comas’ accident , the weezer concert scheduled for earlier this year at UCI has still not been rescheduled and I think its safe to say, its indefinitely canceled.
