Epicenter 2011 this year will be at the Verizon Wireless Theatre in irvine, California on September 24th. Last year Epicenter was a two day festival with a historic lineup, quite possibly the best concert lineup in history with Eminem, Blink 182, Bad Religion, Bush, 30 Seconds to Mars, Rise Against and KiSS just to name a few. This year however concert promoters decided to change locations and focus on a one day event.
The lineup this year includes Limp Bizkit, Staind, Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch, Buckcherry, Chevelle, Puddle of Mudd, Skillet, Asking Alexandria, Redlight King, Middle Class Rut, and Drive A. "Limp Bizkit is back, more dangerous and contagious than ever with our original lineup, NEW album Gold Cobra, and EPICENTER to take your rock and roll fantasy past the extreme,” saysFred Durst of Limp Bizkit. “I promise this will be a party you do NOT want to miss. EPICENTERwill be our first and only Southern California shindig. And fellas, don't be mad that EPICENTERwill be filled with women...that's how we roll." "EPICENTER IS Southern California's Rock Festival,” says Gary Spivack, co-executive producer of the event for Right Arm Entertainment. “With our partners at Live Nation andMonster Energy we are now able to give Southern California rock fans what they want...a ROCK festival to call their own. From the opening band all the way through Limp Bizkit's first area show in a decade, EPICENTER will be a non-stop day of amazing entertainment." Tickets for the event will start as low as $20 and go on sale Saturday June 25th at all ticketmaster outlets and on www.livenation.com Till then, check out some pics from last year's show:
