Coachella promoters Goldenvoice teased us on their Facebook almost a month ago about Muse and Rage Against the Machine having a LA Show and not giving any more than a date and general idea of a location, “LA”. Earlier today more details of the event have been released.

The event dubbed LA Rising will feature Rage Against the Machine, Rise Against, Muse, Immortal Technique and El Gran Silencio. The concert will take place at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on July 30th. Tickets will be $99 or $59 + Junk Fees and will go on sale to the general public on Friday May 13th, this Friday, at 10AM. JUST ADDED: Ms. Lauryn Hill

KROQ Street Team Members will have a chance to buy presale tickets this Thursday the 12th at 10AM. I should point out that KROQ’s weenie roast had all tickets allocated during presale and it sold out within an estimated 20 minutes or so. If you are considering going to this event, I can’t stress enough how important it is to join KROQ’s Street Team.
