Liz Phair is bringing her inspired musical abilities to the San Juan Capistrano area of California this upcoming weekend at the Coach House. She will be performing on March 13th, with doors opening at 5pm and the show scheduled to start at 7pm.

Liz Phair has been performing for and quickly stunning audience members with her musical talents for the past 17 years, starting her outstanding solo career under the stage name Girly Sound, which she self-produced and released cassettes under in the early 90’s, and subsequently challenging stereotypes by refusing to be defined by any single musical style. By continuing to re-define herself and her career, Liz Phair has managed to stay relevant and entertaining for nearly two decades with no sign of slowing down in the near future. Her unique and interesting style is a treat to see live, one that locals of the San Juan Capistrano area should take the opportunity to enjoy in the intimate venue of The Coach House this upcoming week.

Liz’s most recent project is her latest album Funstyle. The album contains 11 songs described as unorthodox, experimental and perhaps even slightly bizarre, which has managed to surprise and intrigue fans who thought they were familiar with Phair’s previous musical stylage. Interestingly enough, Phair even raps on one of the recently released songs, shaking up previous conceptions about the well-known artist’s musical abilities and showing that she has an incredibly dynamic performance range.

The uniquely different sound that Phair has come out with on this album shows the extreme growth and development that the artist has experienced over the past 17 years of her career. Fans of the artist who have not already experienced her new sound should definitely jump at the chance to see the artist up close and personal and get re-acquainted with Phair while checking out her interesting new sound.

The uniquely intimate setting of The Coach House is the perfect venue for fans to get re-introduced to the Liz Phair they thought they knew. Take a trip with the artist as she brings the audience into her present performance style and shows the amazing range that she has already stunned audiences around the country with since the release of her latest album last year. Check out her site ahead of time to get an outstanding preview and free download of one of her newest songs, Oh, Bangladesh, and see updates about other performances and interesting news pertaining to the artist at http://www.lizphair.com/.

Phair will be sharing the stage that night with other musical guests to The Coach House, Cathy and Malea McGuinness. Tickets for the night are currently on sale for $25.00. Event goers can call The Coach House ahead of time and reserve seats for the event; all the information you need to get tickets for this event is available online at the venue’s website, http://www.thecoachhouse.com/. This unique entertainment venue offers event attendees the chance to make dinner reservations, which give priority seating, for guests who would like to enjoy a great meal closer to the stage during the show.

If you absolutely cannot make it to see Liz Phair as she shares her interesting perspective and musical gift with those who can make it to the show, you should still consider checking out The Coach House for other exciting and unique shows that the venue has already booked for March as well as the rest of the year.  Other big name artists already scheduled to perform this March include alternative Indie/Rock group Bonnie Dune, former front man of LIVE and recent solo phenomenon Ed Kowalcyk, and the fun and fresh Orange County reggae group Common Sense.

Liz Phair will also be at the Troubadour next Wednesday, the 16th.
