Danielle Barbe, who has been riding a wave of momentum since her single “Ghost Town” was featured on the television show Ghost Whispers, will be ending a 20 date tour with a series of five stops in the state of California between Monday, December 6th and Saturday, December 11th. Barbe will be performing at Harlow’s in Sacramento, The Independent in San Francisco, the House of Blues in San Diego, the House of Blues in Anaheim, and Ventura Theatre in Ventura on these respective dates, December 6th, December 7th, December 9th, December 10th, and December 11th.

Barbe has showed a passion for music since a young age. Growing up she participated in many music-related activities, such as musicals and choir. Catering to her love for music, Barbe eventually joined forces with her brother and started a band. The group enjoyed some success, playing shows across the east coast and opening for acts like Rusted Roots and The Cult. However, band members decided to disband in 2009, leaving Barbe to pursue a solo career. She quickly earned high praise in the music industry. Luke Ebbin, a producer who has worked with megastars like Bon Jovi and The All-American Rejects, produced Barbe’s self-entitled debut album and praised the singer publicly, saying “Danielle is the real deal, a rare combination of incredible talent and charisma only seen in the biggest stars in the business”

The singer’s passion for music shines brightly within her live performances. Everything from Barbe’s long brunette hair going all over the place to her use of the microphone stand as a prop makes Danielle fun to watch. Just as important, her vocals sound equally as strong and crisp live as they do on a recording. After all, you don’t want to go see a singer who is filled with energy onstage but can’t deliver with the notes.

The Gracious Few will be opening for Barbe on all five of her California dates. The Gracious Few consists of former members from well known groups Candlebox and Live. Ticket prices and admission policies for the concerts vary by show. For instance, the San Diego House of Blues is strictly 21 and over while the Anaheim House of Blues will allow children 16 or under in with the accompaniment of a parent/guardian. Be sure to look into each date (venue/location below) to determine the best show for you. All the concerts begin at 7:30pm.

Tuesday, December 7th- The Independent in San Francisco
Thursday, December 9th- House of Blues in San Diego
