Taste of Chaos is so 2009. This year’s new annual rock tour will be slightly divergent of previous rock bands held on the TOC tour. Welcome, to the Rockstar Energy drink Uproar festival! The creator of the Taste of Chaos tour, John Reese, has stated that although TOC was tremendously successful (going international within the first year), that it has "run its course in America", and that it will be replaced by Uproar. According to John Reese, the main reason behind the death and replacement of the TOCs tour was due to "running out of bands that fit within the profile that Taste of Chaos was." Rocksar's Uproar will have more of a "Radio Rock" element that will open up to bands you normally wouldn't see at Taste of Chaos.

But, no need to fear, Uproar is here! With a more diversified line-up than TOC ever could have provided, and most on the top of the Billboard Charts. The kicking off of the tour is, well... A few days ago in Minneapolis, MN. This tour started immediately after the current Rockstar Mayhem Festival, which ended on 8/14. The Rockstar Uproar festival will started its 35 stop trek on 8/17, and will complete on 10/4 in Madison, Wisconsin and will visit amphitheater’s and arenas nationwide. I know, I know, you want to read about whose actually going to be there for entertainment, well its nothing short of total stupefaction. Gracing the main stage is none other than Avenged Sevenfold, whose new album, Nightmare, lead the Billboard 200 chart at #1 selling around 163,000 in the first week. Disturbed is also headlining, having sold more than 11 Million records worldwide and having released three consecutive studio albums that have debuted at number-one on the Billboard 200, will be dropping their new album Asylum, on August 31 and will also be sharing the stage with Stone Sour. Their new album, Audio Secrecy, will be showcasing on September 7. To continue with the musical madness, is Halestorm, a group that can be described as bad ass with Lzzy Hale, described by some as the “hottest chick in metal” and “best metal chick singer," and her brother, Arejayale, who could be considered "the next Tommy Lee”.

On the Jagermeister stage is heavy metal super group, HELLYEAH who had their new CD Stampede, debut at  #8 on Billboard 200. Airborne, New Medicine, Hail the Villain, and a local Jagermeister-sponsored opener each day, will be there on the second stage. But if you hard to impress bastards are indeed not impressed with the replacement tour, and the new bands, and then you haven't heard what's to come from the vendor village.

Schecter Guitars is a part of an online contest held earlier this summer, who will give one lucky fan a trip for two to Los Angeles to witness the Uproar festival as a part of the "Guitars off Our Backs" sweepstakes. They will enjoy VIP treatment at the September 17 Irvine, CA show, $500 cash, and if that wasn't enough, the guitars that Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed played that night.

You can also enter to win an Uproar mega Rockstar prize pack! Which includes a year’s supply of Rockstar Energy drinks, $100 gift certificate to Dinglife.com, a Rockstar Energy drink, wakeboard AND skateboard.

Does, a $1,000 shopping spree for D'Addario, Planet Waves, and Evans sound too good to be true, Think again. Not one, but FIVE people will be selected for this Ultimate band giveaway. Enter here: http://contests.rockstaruproar.com/daddarioshoppingspree

Also, the Best Buy Musical Instruments will have a pop-up store packed with instruments, CD's and connecting the fans with the bands with scheduled signings in the pop-up store.

And for those of you who seek to save the world, one cause at a time, there's a tent for you too. The Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival has partnered up with Child Find Of America, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the resolution and prevention of child abduction. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Child Find Of America. To further the success of their cause , they wrapped the tours semi-trucks with images of missing children which will give coverage all over the nation to thousands of people, hoping that with the communities help, at least one child can be found and returned to their distraught families. According to Child Find Of America, 2,300 kids go missing everyday. Missing children can be victims of family abductions, non-family abductions, and runaways. Also working with the organization is Stone Sour's front man, (previously of Slipknot) Corey Taylor, who will be doing a public service announcement warning those of the dangers in abductions and in running away, and  will be providing information for those who want to help. Now if you can't wait to help, well you don't have to! Uproar is working with mGive mobile who is providing a text-to-donate campaign to benefit Child Find Of America. If you want to help feel free to! Text "Find" to 50555 to donate $5 to Child Find Of America.

Kill some time, get a head full of pounding, relentless rock, get your moshing on and buy some cool shit to show off to your friends at school, and most importantly, don't forget to help those lost boys and girls. Have fun, and don't forget to buckle your seat belts, it's going to be a rumpus ride.
